    The ottoman is perfect when it comes to accent furniture. I love them to rest my feet after a tough day or night! Incredibly versatile and so deliciously practical; ottomans are great as coffee tables, footstools, extra seating and storage. The best decorating idea is to make your own.     But what lies beneath is just a shell that you cover with various layers of soft fabrics. It doesn’t look so scary, does it, when all the fluff is taken away and all that remains are the bare bones.

    An ottoman can also be known as a footstool,[5]tuffet,[6]hassock,[7] or pouffe.[8][9]

    Youtube shows how to cover a footstool or coffee table by adding cushioning on top. They make it look very easy.
